We traveled from Arkansas to Missouri and into Illinois this morning crossing the flooded Mississippi River  about 11 AM.

 Amazing amount of water, stretching from levee to levee.

 Haven't seen this much water and this much green in a very long time.

Over night at Camp Lakewood RV in Effingham IL just off I-70 tonight.
Walked around and located Blue-grey Gnatcatcher, Tufted Titmouse, and 1 squirrel without a tail. Then the rain and thunder started, haven't heard such a wonderful sound in a very long time.

We have driven 1075 miles and purchased 163 gallons of gas. And we're almost halfway to Vermont!
